"The End Begins: HAWX" is a short story released in 2008 as a tie-in to Tom Clancy's EndWar. It takes place in October 2021, and features Lt. Col. David Crenshaw as he visits the remains of his friend Jerry Slaten, who he had shot down in the line of duty.
