Svartvand BV was a European private military corporation. It operated in South America and was hired by the Zapatista rebels. They flew at least four Su-25s in Guatemala, three of which were shot down by Firehawk PMC F-16s. Their base was attacked by Captain Troy Loensch and DefenseCo on the ground; in the middle of the engagement, Firehawk staged a merger with Svartvand and the conflict ended. Svartvand then became the Svartvand Division of Firehawk. At the celebratory dinner, the employee Enrique Giracamada spoke to the company. The pilot of the remaining Su-25, Aron Arnold, later joined Loensch at the H.A.W.X. Program at Nellis Air Force base.
