Crenshaw's squadron are tasked to protected the USS James Lawrence battle group from Las Trinidad's naval fleet. Shortly after, Artemis launched a sneak attack with their naval ships in an attempt to regain control over the small Brazilian PMC. Crenshaw's squadron and USS James Lawrence battle group was ordered to withdraw from the combat zone, Artemis flagship Myrmidon armed with advanced long-range cruise missiles,multiple AA and SAM defenses and small frigate group armed with AA defenses.The Myrmidon is ordered to destroy to USS James Lawrence battle group,but the Myrmidon and small frigate group are destroyed. Crenshaw's squadron is left Artemis Global Security and return to HAWX Squadron for active duty.

Artemis Global Security received a support contract from the U.S. military as the result of the successful Operation: Backfire. Artemis dispatched Reaper Flight to provide close air support for the Navy's U.S.S. James Lawrence fleet, preparing to counter-attack Las Trinidad's last stand after their ground offensive details were secured by a Ghost Recon team.
