Operation: Torchlight was a mission conducted during the Artemis' invasion in 2021. After ensuring air supremacy over Washington, the H.A.W.X. squadron was ordered to withdraw and escort a special target, the Air Force One. Artemis Global Security launches an air attack against the plane, but the H.A.W.X. squadron defended it until it reached a secure location code name November Four.
Description[]
Artemis has launched a massive, surprise attack on the United States, beginning with a lighting assault on the capital itself. Thanks to the heroic efforts of a handful of defenders, Washington remains in US hands, but the situation is desperate.
Briefing[]
None
Outcome[]
The H.A.W.X. squadron defended Air Force One from Artemis fighters until it reached the secure location codenamed November Four. However, Artemis activates a jamming signal which blinds the US forces from their attack. Then, the H.A.W.X. squadron is sent in to locate the source of the jamming and destroy it.
Mobile version[]
The mobile version omits this mission.
Trivia[]
Along with Operation: Red Eagle, the mission does not include a briefing, given the special circumstances.
