Los Angeles is a major US city. In June 2021, an Artemis special operations team had sneaked into the city a few hours ago and placed a nuclear warhead in the van located in the center of the city and it's set for detonation. It was discovered by the US military, and after Captain David Crenshaw destroyed the warhead, it released radiation and the civilians had been evacuated.
