Desert Fortress is a mission conducted by the U.S. military in the near future.
Description[]
After the success of the previous operations, the leader of the insurgent movement raging across the Middle East has been identified. Finally, he is tracked down in a remote mountain city that has been emptied of its population and fortified by the insurgents troops prepared for a big battle.
Mission[]
Determined to stop the insurgents, the U.S. military staged a surprise attack on the airfield during the opening phase of Operation Fortress. The HAWX squadron infiltrated the city via narrow, winding canyon to protect the assault force from all enemy forces using their attack drones. They seized the airfield and Hunter armed to route the enemy counterattack. Then, they prepared their defenses and waited for reinforcements.
